The purpose of my paintings is to make something beautiful for me. They are a means of expression. They represent my deepest feelings as a response to my life. My paintings are how I see color; how I see shapes; how I see line. They are about complexity, sadness, hope and always beauty. My style of painting is contemporary n minimalist and through them I want to express my experiences.

When I work on a painting, I put away all thoughts that are not helpful and channel my energies towards relaxing and becoming one with my canvas. Since I work intuitively, this is absolutelyimportant. I begin to see shapes in my head and think about how to put them out of my huge palette of colors. Never, ever do I think about what others expect or want or what will sell, but rather I look at my time in my studio as a process of discovery.

I identify who I am with my artwork... in other words, I love the work, the experience of making each art piece.
