Eleanor Goldstein
Eleanor Goldstein's large-scale watercolors and her tightly focused etchings create narratives of environmental concern and urban construction based on firsthand observation. Her strong geometrical line and powerful use of color create worlds of unique energy. Goldstein's work is in many collections, including IBM, PepsiCo, Pfizer and Co. and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking. She has exhibited in museums and many national juried shows.
Of her approach, she says:
"Light informs or obscures an image. It sets the mood. The viewer is invited to journey to places that are almost familiar... and to celebrate a vision of the past"
