Abstract collage is the perfect medium for a “collector” like me who values recycling and
enjoys rummaging through junkyards and flea markets.
My work is driven by a spirit of playfulness, possibly stemming from my background as a preschool educator. Intuition and spontaneity are my tools as I explore with endless variations of shape, line, texture and pattern.
I experiment with different mediums moving from collage to dress design to 3D wood
sculptural assemblages and more currently collage with teabags.
Combining diverse materials is like putting a puzzle together based on my own aesthetic. For me creating art is a fulfilling journey, a play of spontaneity and intention, and I continue to explore endless possibilities.
