Spitzer, Flower Power, Oil on Canvas

Cecily Spitzer's radiant abstractions are alive with natural forms and strong emotive brushwork.  Paul Greco's sense of the spiritual world comes to the surface in all his work, as does his energy and quirky sense of humor.  Though very different, both are closely connected by their deep sensitivity to nature.

March 22nd through April 15th.

Opening reception Sunday March 25th 2-5 pm.

Cecily A. Spitzer

"I have always been drawn to the painters who are lovers of nature and who use color as an emotional element in their work. I see a line from Cezanne to Matisse through some of the Impressionists, and finally to the second generation of Abstract

Expressionists such as Joan Mitchell.  This is the tradition that informs my own eye.

I am always inspired by the beauty of nature, and sensitive to the inexorable passage of time. "
