Call for Photographers: Photography Takes Over

The Upstream Gallery announces it next invitational photography exhibition – Photography Takes Over. We would like to present photographs in a large variety of themes and techniques including more experimental work that uses photographic imagery in mixed media works.

The exhibition will take place from February 2nd to 26th, 2012. We would welcome your submission by following the procedure indicated below.

Maximum framed size of photograph to be displayed is 16”x20” We will display a maximum of four images per photographer.

There will be a hanging fee of $25 per image and a 20% commission for works sold.

Call for Artists: Small Works, 2012

As always, our traditional juried Small Works show will feature both 2-D and 3-D work in all media this year.  Exhibition dates are January 5 to January 29, 2012. 

Two works will be accepted for final judging from each artist.  Artwork should not exceed 15" in any direction including frame or base.  There will be a $25 installation fee for each work that is displayed  There is no application fee. Upstream Gallery will receive a 30% commission on all works sold.

Deadline for submitting applications is December 1, 2011.  All applications must be accompanied by CD or photographs of work; no slides, please.  Applications may be downloaded below. The Upstream Gallery has at least two invitational juried exhibitions each year. The Small Works exhibition takes place in January and the Photography exhibtion takes place in February.
