Maralyn Matlick is a non-representational painter who works in watercolor, pastel and ink.

Her abstracts are a continually evolving exploration of line, value, color, intensity and shape, which she uses to express mood and character rather than an object or place.

She draws her inspiration from extensive travel, the Hudson River Valley where she lives, and Maine where she studies and paints during the summer.
