I have always been intrigued by the endless varieties of colors, shapes, lines, textures, and patterns of light and dark and how they work together. I begin each work by using these elements in an unstructured way and then look for an idea that inspires me to carry the composition further.
Some of these “ideas” end up in the trash but others work out successfully and are dutifully framed, exhibited, and, I hope, enjoyed.
