Art
to me is an adventure in which I attempt to unearth the darker
realm of consciousness with irony and the absurd. Book art
in which I have been deeply involved for many years is influenced
by Medieval Illuminations. Much of my art represents a reworking
through collage of personal and symbolic images. My work has
included a bestiary of animals, self-portraits, expressionistic
landscapes painted in oil and mixed media, as well as various
objects using collage and paint.
